Introduction of Lilac Education
Since its establishment in 2001, Lilac Education has aspired to build the global brand of centurial education. With 17-year pioneering efforts, it has made brilliant achievements.
Lilac overwhelmingly spurs with 17-year accumulation, keeps pace with the times with great vigor and firm determination, and forges ahead through burgeoning development. Now, Lilac Education has seven kindergartens, one foreign language training school, one full-time primary school -- Handan Experimental School (Handan), one Canada international middle school, and many other overseas learning centers, with over 700 teaching and administrative staffs and over 7,000 school students.
“Morality leads the way and virtues light up the future”. Lilac people have won extensive recognition from the society for their persistence in education. Lilac has successively been awarded National Advanced Social Organization, National Excellent Private Kindergarten, National Private Non-enterprise Advanced Unit of Self-discipline and Honesty Construction, Hebei Province Legal Integrity School, Vice-president Unit of Hebei Provincial Private Education, etc.
On November 18, 2015, Lilac Education cooperated with the International College of Canada Fulbright Academy, and set up the first “Lilac overseas students’ learning base”. Besides, it has established good cooperative and communication relationships with American Ivy Education Alliance Foundation, Britain University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), and other teaching and examining bodies.
“Educational quality”is always the lifeline for Lilac’s development. During the middle school entrance examination, Handan Lilac International School has ranked the first for the 11 consecutive years in the acceptance rate and in the municipal key middle school acceptance rate. In terms of students’ total score, it has won the first prize for twice, and joined the top three and top five for many times. The graduates from Canada Fulbright International Middle School who have been approved for the entry into University of Toronto have accounted for over 90% for the three consecutive years among the applicants.
Introduction of Handan
Handan is a medium-sized city located in the southern part of Hebei Province. It’s only over four hundred kilometers away from the capital city of China, Beijing, about four hours by train and just two hours by high-speed railway. Handan is a city which is both classical and modern with convenient transportation, rich culture, prosperous economy, ancient history and simple folk customs.
Handan lies at the east foot of Taihang Mountains, and borders the North China Plain in the east. it is in the communication center of Hebei, Henan,Shanxi and Shandong provinces. Handan has a history of more than 2,500 years, and is considered one of China's historical and cultural cities. It was the capital of the Zhao Kingdom in the Warring States Period. There are many renowned historical figures such as the First Emperor of China, Qinshihuang, Emperor Wuling of the Zhao Kingdom, Lian Po and Lin Xiangru, etc. As a national historical and cultural city, Handan is the hometown of idioms and allusions. There are over 500 Chinese idioms and allusions derived from Handan.
