About Us
Founded in 2011, Vermont International Academy (VIA) is a global education organization with headquarters in Boston and Shanghai. VIA manages a growing system of international schools, digital learning platforms, and education service partnerships across Asia and North America. As the first U.S.-authorized American high school to operate in China, VIA has been a pioneer in bridging East and West through high-quality, accredited international education.

International School System
VIA operates American-style high school programs across mainland China, offering a full U.S. curriculum and diploma pathway. Our schools emphasize bilingual learning, interdisciplinary exploration, and college readiness.
Accredited Digital Learning
VIA runs Asia's first fully Cognia-accredited online international high school. Leveraging AI, LMS platforms, and interactive content, we deliver rigorous, flexible education to students worldwide.
Global Accreditation & Quality Assurance
Since 2016, VIA has been continuously accredited by Cognia, the largest education accreditor in the U.S. In 2019, VIA earned Corporation Accreditation, and in 2020, its service division was certified as an Education Service Agency (ESA) and Post-Secondary Institution.
